Northwind and the whitefish don't bite
Biked to work for the first time this year. The morning was chilly, the wind from the North. I caught up with a friend, had a chat, missed the swan in a small bay, missed another bay and just before leaving the waterfront waved her goodbye to stop at a pier. I had in mind to try some more pics over the water against the sun. But that's when the sun disappeared totally. I decided to wait for a moment and see if it comes back.
The friendly old chap fishing at the pier apparently was happy to get company - pretty soon he approached me. So now I know that the whitewish don't bite when it's northwind. And that you can get herring by the nearby bridge. And that the pikeperches are too small here nowadays. And that he's even caught a cod here even though they are not supposed to live here.
And the sun never came. So you only get the cloudy pic this time.
Unlike in the afternoon when the Sun beat the Northwind. Warm and nice again.
Kids needing my attention now... need to hurry upstairs.
Enjoy your day!
PS I think this is better as large.
