Pioneer Graduation

For the last couple of weeks, the 3rd graders have been learning about pioneers by dressing, working, and living like pioneers. Each day the kids were to dress like pioneers, and then they did various activities throughout the weeks. Today was graduation, and the kids were to pack their lunches in cloth materials, glass bottles, etc. They couldn't use plastic bags, bottles, or lunch boxes. I had to go out and break a branch off the tree to hold Jordan's lunch.
