Autumn Tree.

Such a bleak day today. Meet a friend for coffee, and on the way home, photographed this beautiful tree. I think that it is a Pin Oak. It is so nice to see a tree with room to grow and spread its (wings) branches.
I am having to go and pack my case again as I am traveling down to Dunedin where my mother is in hospital. It is so hard being miles apart and I think that she needs me at this time.
I did well in the competition last night, and out of 6 entries I got a gold - top in the Abstract, and 4 acceptances - so very pleased.
