Lesser-spotted gull

See that bird soaring up there? That's me, that is. For the first time in a long time, I'm confident that any splotches you see in this sky are meant to be there.

I finally got round to getting the sensor cleaned in my camera, and it's like seeing the world through a new pair of specs. Those of you with perfect eyesight are just going to have to believe me on this: that's a good feeling. This colour of sky would have been perfect for showing up all the imperfections, too.

On the plus side, having all that crud on the sensor gave me plenty of practice with the clone tool in Photoshop, but I'm not sad to see it go.
