'my' washing machine

I rent this machine and have probably paid it's worth quite a few times over. However, I hesitate to buy myself one, even when I have got the money to do so. Today I bought a new camera and paid the same amount I could buy a fairly decent washing machine on impulse. Do I have my priorities right!
