Bjorn + Amanda...

Bjorn is home from Iraq for only about another week... But, we're gonna try to make this the best week we can... Lots of good food and good company... Amanda is his girlfriend... It's a new relationship, but I think that he's quite smitten...

Kind of crazy to say, but it's like having a grown son... He's only a few years younger than I am, but somehow, from the time we met, I somehow felt a maternal bond with him... He's had a tough life, and is doing his very best to make the best of the hand he was dealt... I'm glad to be able to be a part of his life... I am more proud than I can express...

I'm hoping to get some pics of him in his uniform tomorrow!
