I've resisted for as long as possible but it looks like I'm going to have get a color calibration tool of some description. I use a lot of black in my photos and I just can't get my extra monitor to match my Macbook. It's kind of annoying when I move my photos to my other monitor and what I thought was black with no detail comes out brighter and with detail. Time to do some calibrator research!
