Someone to watch over me......

Today we were out and about looking for a Blip with no ideas in mind at all. One of those days when you just hope that something springs forward and grabs you but Im not really in the mood. Tomorrow is D (for decision) Day so my mind is occupied in ways other than photography today. We drove round randomly, talking as we went and ended up in of all places, at the East Taieri cemetary. We saw this statue and it really felt to me like someone was above me guiding me onward and protecting me from harm (honest I havent been drinking). I hope the message they were trying to give me was understood and was the right one.

It got me thinking.........

Why is it in life that some things occur and that they lead you down a totally different path to the one that we travel from day to day on?
At times we just have to trust these guardians and believe that they understand the big picture and will help us get to where we need to get to.

P.S. I have a close friend that is like a living guardian to me, a wise creature he is, and he always seems to pop up when I need assistance to give me a kick in the pants. He has be instrumental is a dramatic change in me over the last year and I cant thank him enough for this. After I had photographed and Blipped this image he phoned up for a wee chat, he had no idea that this call couldnt have been better timed. I dedicate this image to him, a true guiding light.
