Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

Grading Student Essays

The reading and marking started early this morning sitting in bed with a cup of coffee and Mitzi by my side wanting her tummy rubbed -- good grief! It is all I can do to grade the papers without needing to give a hand to rubbing!

Later in the morning, I took the three dogs outdoors to the fountain side of the house to continue the paper grading. Max plopped down right in front of me to watch the fountain spraying water and to make sure that I did not get out of his sight.

A while later, Mr. Fun tippy-toed around from the main portion of the backyard and clicked several photos of the "paper-grading pooch moment." This photo has me surround with all three pooches. Honestly, there is never a dull moment. And paper grading was an all day event. Ugh!

Today the electrician was here to pull wire into our new sheds. We now have light! Woohoo. So at the moment I am in the house working on student stuff and Mr. Fun is outside in his shed doing whatever a man does in a shed. He continues to moan about wanting the two of us (okay and the three pooches) to do a sleep-over in one of the sheds. Now that we have light, "Maybe," I said.

Thanks for all the comments on yesterday's fun family fooling around!

Good night from Southern California.
