Crash!

An unintentionally early blip. In the red corner, my lovely Saab convertible driven by Reasonspart3 on her way to the park for an early morning run. In the white corner, three tired Omanis in a clapped out Nissan Maxima who pulled straight out at a notoriously bad corner and thumped into the car.

Thankfully no-one was hurt and the police came and sorted it all out quickly and efficiently. When I went back a little later to arrange for my car to get towed away, the man in the middle had appeared. They are a curious middle east phenomenon called the 'red flag man'. Basically, wherever you have road works they will plonk some poor guy with a red flag. As far as I can see all he does is put his own life in danger! He was certainly no help this morning.
