150mph in swimming trunks

in the 1950`s a proper chap (as they were
in those days) rode a Vincent Black Shadow
across the Salt Lake Flats in the USA at
150mph.

he layed prone across the top of the British built bike
with his feet sticking out over the back for aerodynamics.

all he wore was swimming trunks and a cap for
maximum speed.

proper chaps in those days!!!
