The zoo

We went to the zoo today, but the only picture I saved was of the ducklings wandering through the grounds! They were pottering around, unaware of the danger posed by small curious children, but were closely followed by an efficient looking Mummy Duck... and a gaggle of at least 8 members of the Duckling Paparazzi (in all shapes and sizes)! It was a funny procession.

All in all, the day's been a bit of a nightmare. I'm almost hoping the children are coming down with something because they've been so clingy and whingey. No 2 son had at least a 40 minute MEGA tantrum this afternoon and we literally couldn't do anything with him. And they were both so shattered from the zoo that they fell asleep in the car on the way home and now neither of them will go to sleep at bedtime. Great. Why does that always happen on a day when you are so shattered yourself that you think you might fall over?? Oh well, back to work tomorrow, for a rest!
