Coot and three chicks

Second Easterday. My friends came with a little pond for in our backgarden.
I hide 35 eggs in the garden and they all had to seek. They didn't succeed. 3 are forgotten. Can't find them.
But they found a silverpaper of a chocolate egg from last year! So there is hope that next year they will find 3 silverpapers from the forgotten eggs today.

The pond is beautiful.

We walked together and we saw the coot on her nest with her three youngsters. The man came with food.
