Otter spotter

Today was utterly briliant all ways. Went with #1 daughter for a run to Benderloch, (her driving) so I got to look around me. Then we went to the Sea Life Centre outside Oban and saw the giant octopus (which tried to pull his keeper underwater last year) being fed, then the highlight for us was seeing the two otters Islay & Lewis. When we lived on the island we ofter saw otters swimming just in front of the kitchen window so it was extra nice to see them close up again. Afterwards we stopped at the Ben Laura cafe for a quick lunch then onwards home. All in all a grand day. Weather still good so having filled #1 daughters tank with petrol, now off to fill up #1 son's car (its never ending) then to take doggies out for a nice evening plod along the canal bank

Ah yes a good day for tomorrow its back to the dreaded work
