Waiting in the rain

Thanks for the comments on my previous owl shots. I noticed that they were recorded as iphone pics. I'm not sure why unless it has something to do with uploading them onto my ipad and then onto Blipfoto. They were taken with a Nikon D90 from some distance using a 300 mm zoom and then cropped. I would have had to be in the tree with them (something I would love, of course) to get a shot like that with my iphone!

I've been going every day to see if they are home - nothing until today. it's raining and they were in the tree next to the nesting tree which gives a bit more shelter from the weather. This was shot from even further away since I don't feel comfortable creeping into the yard of the homeowner!
