A Perfect Day

Today was a wonderful day outside, beautiful weather and very productive. After a chaotic week of planning a school event I woke up and headed out for a long walk so I could take in some of the beautiful morning sunshine. After returning home we spent the day in the backyard beautifying it for Spring and Summer. It felt so good to spend hours outside digging in the dirt and listening to our kids play outside with the rest of the neighbor kids.

Finally later that evening we came inside to paint Easter Eggs and get ready for the Easter Bunnies big visit in the morning. Unfortunately none of my egg coloring pictures turned out very well but I liked this one I took of these gorgeous tulips I bought to give my mom on Easter. Tulips have always been one of my favorite flowers.
