Even during the rain, there is sun.
What better thing to do with Easter Monday bank holiday than to make your own rainbow?
Today is the day after a relaxing Easter day evening: Extended communion by the spoken word followed by a meal out with two good friends Peter and Lottie. They are moving house soon, so we used the excuse that the flat is a bit topsy-turvy with packing to visit Hanedan. It's not the first time we've been - and it's well worth checking out, if you've not done yet! Peter, Lottie, and I had some planning and plotting to do, as often when we get together. But that just adds to the fun: It gives our conversations a small sense of purpose - and our otherwise wandering minds (well, that accounts for Peter and I at least) a little bit of focus!
It was a late-ish night, and so pulled out their sofa bed rather than trying to get home to sleep. Refreshed, I've got a lot of stuff done today:
Popped into work to put my out-of-office on, send a few emails, and pick up a few files as I'm working at home tomorrow.
Built a barbeque that I bought earlier in the weekend to fit out our recently upgraded garden for the rest of summer.
Prepared a package for posting (which may well get Blipped tomorrow!).
Made up a "Year-Planner" wall chart.
Stopped for coffee and cake at the garden centre (before assembling the ingredients for the pot-plant: Thyme (for that Mediterranean fragrance, and a couple of Cordylines for the architectural touch!)
and, of course,
Made my own little RAINBOW :-)
Hope you've all had a fabulous Easter, and if you get a bank holiday today that it's been as refreshing as mine! And even if it's rained on you, I hope you found a way to make a rainbow.
