Ooooof!

I need to take stock here a little.

You know when people say things like "If you're ever around this way we should have a drink"? Yes? Well, next time that happens, do it. Back sometime around January I was given such an offer and for once decided that I would.

Fast forward to Thursday last week and I'm hooking up with She Said in Manchester and find myself playing Louise to her Thelma the next morning on the way to Edinburgh.

It's not long after arrival that we hit the ground running and embark on a weekend of meeting many people who all turn out to be an absolute delight.

1080 miles, 2 halves of Deuchars and a deep fried haggis later I'm getting out of the car back in Wales at 2am this morning and feeling like something quite wonderful has happened. I am amazed at the kindness, hospitality and out and out laughs that were found.
