I have been play-testing ALCHEMY over the last few months for my friend Cindy, who re-discovered this ancient repository of primitive psychological psecrets now handily packaged as a board game.

I'd like to thank my play-testers: Elaine & Derek, Tony, Mark, Wallis & Joe, Pamela & Nicola and Linda for joining me to play the game and their positive and constructive approach to playing and to commenting on changes and improvements to the rules. Some will be taken on board - groan - I'm sure, though on others it comes down to a question of subjective taste and design authority remains with Cindy. The creative enthusiasm demonstrated by the play-testers was much appreciated but I expect she will soon wish to freeze rather than substantively alter the design.
