Phone Drama

First day of holiday today! Beautiful and sunny again so we went to meet Gail and Nik on the docks for a drink. Was lovely sitting on a table by the edge of the marina.

Well, it was lovely until my phone slid out of my back pocket, fell through the fence, bounced off the wall and fell onto the boardwalk running along the dock below.

The back of the phone came off and slid down between the decking and the battery had fell out. For a while all I could do was stare at it and try to force it back up to me by the the power of my mind alone, but alas no luck. Luckily some people were on a boat nearby and Nik managed to grab their attention and some very nice man handed me back my phone and fished out the back from beneath the deck. So, so lucky!!

So - morale of the story is, do not keep phone in back pocket!!
