The Very Best of The Dubliners...

...has to be one if my favourite albums.

It belongs to my folks and stays in their kitchen. They got it long before I was born but it was always on the car when we went on holidays. I reckon some of these songs are the first I learnt all the words to!

Was at Ma & Pa's for barbecued food tonight.

After meals at my folks there's always the opportunity for me & Big Sis to do the dishes and listen to one of the albums we'd listen to in the car. Usually this, Glenn Miller or Fats Waller.

Guess it was kinda unusual for kids in the 80s to be into that sort of music.

So a good evening as always. Worth dragging myself out of my sick bed for :)
