A hen's motto...

Here we have Tricksy just about to get even for having seen her eggs nicked, boiled, dyed and hidden around Nana's garden for the enjoyment of the little ones.

Hens do eat anything. The most diverse the diet, the tastier the eggs. Earlier on Patsy, Sally and Tricksy were fighting over the little bits of crab meat falling off the claws I was nibbling on outside in the midday sun.
Can't wait to taste tomorrow's batch of eggs...

Went to a cool beach.
Then tried to climb a hill, but the kids went on strike half way up. Only the promise of treats (good thing there is about half a ton of chocolate eggs in Nana's store room) could get them moving again to enjoy the beautiful view at the top
