Biked to work today as part of "Bike to Work" week. Yep, that's my "saving the planet" duty for the year.

Like the ridiculous piece in our local paper this morning where McDonalds is going to dim their Golden Arches for an hour to mark "Save the Planet" week. Yep, that will save us. I don't know who is more ridiculous, our local paper or McDonalds. Ok, both!

Anyway, rant end. Here's a Monarch caterpillar in our garden. They have pretty much eaten all the plant so have moved onto the flowers. I haven't told the kids that they may not make it ...

Edit: I answered my question regarding the Caribou. In fact they were reindeer that ate all the vegetation until the population crashed. Kind of like our caterpillars ;-)
