A day of small achievements.

Le Trec was held at the stables today. The French Equestrian "sport". Our version of the event was a timed walk around the gallops, a quiz and a mounted obstacle course.

I was one very nervous bunny! Belton likes to jog, in true racehorse style around the gallops. He's a bit backwards in coming forwards generally, and his rider is not a confident one! But we had a bash.

He was a star on the gallops, tried his very best on the obstacles, (we even went over a jump), he wasn't much cop with his football skills, and I seriously let him down with the quiz. but hey ho. We did it. I was proud of us both.

The blip isn't us (riding, concentrating and blipping was really gonna push it). It's Gemma (side saddle champion from here.). Her very competitive (non riding) hubbie Richard fancied a go, so took Murphy. He came third. Cheating, dirty git.
