Eagle at the sanctuary

This beautiful soul was at our local animal sanctuary and animal hospital. Looks like his wing has been injured.

I am so grateful that the place exists and have certainly had my share of times when they have so kindly met me in the dark of night to help with some injured squirrel or bird.

The Florida Panthers are probably not going to be leaving as the habitat they need to live in has pretty much been turned into a mall.

Anyway, half our state was without power today, and I feel grateful we have not had an outage here, and so grateful to get time to just chill out at the sanctuary which is a ten minute drive from my house, free....and I hardly go there? Sheesh!
