Or, as I call it, my Dandy-lion....
The poor maligned dandielion, or pee the bed as it's colloquially known for its diuretic properties when boiled up as tea.
Watch a child drawing a shining sun with a bold yellow crayon - and 9 times out of 10, it'll look like this beautiful little 'weed'. A weed, of course, is just nature designed plants, instead of man's designs.
I think there are few shades of yellow so intense; few flowers so underappreciated for their beauty and thei simple charms. I give you - the humble dandielion.
