Japanese Maple

T'was the mighty Moose Peterson who declared, "There'll be times when you come back with nothing!" Verily this was one of those times.

I may not blip every day but I have promised myself to blip every time I dig out a camera and do a shoot of any kind. Today I wandered the streets of Katoomba, betwixt the CBD and Echo Point, shooting bits of stuff what might have looked interesting at the time. True to the promise of the Moose, pickings were indeed slim.

I am easily entranced by colour, however, and whilst plunging my camera into the midst of a Japanese maple, I got this vision of red. As is often the case, the pertinent channel was overloaded but I couldn't really bring myself to wind it back any ... and so this is today's effort.
