The Memory Keeper

I got this letter in the post the other day, and am now officially on the blood donor register. Ok, so it turns out I can't give any of the stuff away yet as I need to wait 'til July for a year to have passed since I went to Peru.... But it's a step in the right direction :)

I'm a little gutted that I didn't get the chance to blip yesterday, I had so many brilliant opportunities for pictures, but my camera was lying safe and sound at home. Yesterday was so spontaneous, I had a really great day. The weather was beautiful, but sadly I had to head into uni to hand in the essay I had only finished that morning (4am to be precise)... And I had a 4 hour session on Interprofessional Education. Which I 'forgot' to go to. With the weather as lovely as it was, who would blame me?!

Anyway, so I headed to my mates flat to celebrate the end of coursework... And spent half the afternoon having sack races down their hallway in plastic bin bags and hanging life-sized cardboard cut-outs of The Rock out of the flat window (as you do)! We then continued to head to The Belmont cinema (I've been a lot recently, as if that would stop it from closing down) to see Submarine, which was a little disappointing after my sister told me how much she enjoyed it! This was then followed by my second essential trip of the day to Slains Castle for some brilliantly wonderful cocktails (try Prodigal if you ever have the chance to go... it's yummy!)

Blah blah, the rest of the night went in a complete blur, I got in at 4am and woke with a big fat overhang and a tongue as dry as Gandhi's flip-flop. Quiet nights in from now on I'm afraid, 6 weeks of placement start on Tuesday... Wish me luck!
