The Show

What a lovely day today! Sunny, warm, and a bank holiday Friday. Who could ask for more?

I took wee C and wee D round the corner for a playdate at wee C's friend wee O's house after lunch. I took suncream, sunhats and sunglasses for the kids, and a bottle of wine for the mums... :-) Hubby stayed at home to do lots of work clearing the garage out and washing both cars - what a star.

The kids had a great time playing, and got all dressed up to put on a 'show' for the grown-ups. I particularly love wee D's marabou halo. Believe it or not, wee O (far left) is actually a good few months younger than wee C - and about a foot taller!! Wee M, middle right, is wee O's little sister and is in the same class at nursery as wee D. They are all very good friends and play well together - not too much fighting which is always a surprise.

Meanwhile, we mums had a great time drinking iced cider and wine and having a good chat. The husbands joined us later for a couple, and when it was time for the kids to go to bed, we all stoated back round the corner to our house.

And then I discovered hubby had been to Glasgow and bought a new gadget... I'll save that for a another day's blip though... :-)
