What a game we had at Rodney Parade today. It was a very hard encounter against a very strong West Wales outfit. Aberavon looked like they were going to continually capitalise on our mistakes. They built up a healthy lead and I thought it was all over. But the fat lady hadnt started singing and Newport clawed they way back to an epic win. It finished Newport 42 Aberavon 41.
