Hot Cross Buns

I saw Kinda Horrigan's Hot Cross Buns yesterday and somehow it reminded me it was Easter

I knew but although I had blipped "Good Friday", the children have Monday off, I'd still forgotten....is it just me with those moments??

So today I did mine, and inspired by Horrigan's I even made crosses, normally I just cut crosses like you would on a loaf

Goodness only knows where that chick came from though.
