T-2 weeks

Two weeks today I'll hopefully be en route to Lima and my Macmillan t-shirts arrived the other day. 3 of them. We're supposed to wear them on the trail so that we can be spotted easily amongst the hordes of other Inca Trail trekkers.

I'm not sure what shape of person they're made for, but despite their overall capacious nature, the neck-hole seems like it's made for a child and I feel like I'm being strangled. This isn't pleasant at normal altitude but really won't be an endearing quality at all at 14 000ft where by all accounts breathing's not the easiest thing anyway.

Apologies for the quality of the image - I think I should get a different self-timer for the iPhone as the app that I got this one with reduces the quality of the photo.

Right - back out into the sunshine. I'm convinced I overslept and woke up in July ;-)
