Street Art #6

Up early at 6.30 for an 8 mile run.

Felt much better for it for about 6 miles and more ambivalent for the last 2!

After googling,'When does Lent end?' yesterday so that I could have a bit of chocolate I found a range of answers which led me to believe that eating that whole chocolate egg last night was an acceptable thing.

It didn't make me feel particularly good so I thought I'd run it off.

Bristol in the early morning is great - quiet, beautiful light and clear(ish) air.

I ran down Bridge Valley Road (currently closed to cars) and around to Gloucester Road and back up. Had to run through Stokes Croft, scene of the riots this week.

Tesco is very much boarded up and and a police man and woman were stationed outside this morning. The squat, the raid on which, caused all the trouble, is directly opposite, and still very much occupied.

Warm weather seems to switch on the rioting gene!

A local photographer Jonathan Taphouse got some great shots, some of which he has sold to National newspapers.

I wonder what will happen next?
