Spring has arrived.....

Spring has arrived.....for now. We had a gorgeous day today. Capris. Slip on vans. Short sleeved shirt. Sunglasses (if I had remembered to throw them in my purse). Spring. Just what we have been waiting for. Tomorrow is expected to reach the 70's and then on Easter Sunday, the rains will return.

We finished the yard project today. It was quite a week of work but come Summer, we will be so happy that we fixed the lawn. In honor of finishing the labor part of our project, I chose to blip a Rhododendron from our backyard. The entire bush was in the shade except for parts of this single flower. I like how how the shade created a black backdrop in the photograph.

Great night of tball practice. So far my job of 'team parent' has been a success. What I actually like about the responsibility is that it encourages me to get around to each of the parents, introduce myself and get to know them a bit. A new friendship was born this evening with plans of future playdates with our kids. And that is always very exciting to me. I do love making new friends when I can see right away that there is a connection.

And that brings us to this evening. Once this playoff game is over we are going to watch a movie. I'm kind of in the mood for a drama and we've been wanting to watch 'Social Network'. I do love movie nights with my honey doll. Over and out blippers, hope your Friday evening is a good one.
