Snack Time

My parents arrived today for the weekend. Elizabeth was excited to have new people to play with! Plus she now has lots of lovely new clothes. And we have lots of Easter Eggs.

We all ate together: lasagna. I would usually help Elizabeth eat that sort of food, but I decided to leave her to it today. She kept trying to use the spoon and fork, but was also happy to use her fingers to shovel it all in. Its been a while since she cleared her plate like that! Although when she got up, we did find a few pieces on her lap! She did really well. She loves lasagna.

It's been an exciting day all round. I had been waiting for my parents to arrive to break the news that we're expecting another baby. It's due at the end of October. I told all my family over the phone last time, so I was really looking forward to telling my parents face to face this time. Yay!
