HAWESWATER
Reflections on the day: up early when I could have done with a lie in. Off to Haweswater in the Lake District to see the one Golden Eagle (poor chap) in England. It was a beautiful day and a really lovely walk, and the Eagle displayed beautifully.
But .... on the way home we stopped at Hellifield Flash (to many just a big puddle in a field), and G spotted a Black Tern. Now that certainly made it a red letter day. A good Friday.
