Water Main Break

My capping presentation was supposed to be at 5:00 today. I've been working in a group to develop a mathematical model for hotel overbooking since the beginning of the semester and we were all anxious to get this presentation over with; not nervous, just anxious. As our luck would have it, there was a water main break on campus and they had to immediately release all 3:30 classes and cancel all 5:00s, so our presentation is now pushed back to Tuesday and we are not happy about it. Either way, we are prepared--it's just another day to feel anxious over.

Before my 3:30 got released early, my professor brought in some animals (a long, skinny, green snake and two baby chicks). I held one of the chicks and it was so cute; it was falling asleep in my hand, but then it pooped on me. That wasn't fun.

Headed home a little earlier than planned and went to Jilly's which was fun, but I was so exhausted that I couldn't stay for too long.
