Possibility and Potential

I was chatting with someone about the differences between "possibility" and "potential". This overzealous textbook we were looking at used these words as a verbose way of explaining positive and negative thinking. It's that annoying kind of explanation, to which I'm always victim to myself, and can't stand it when reading it from someone else. Specifically from people who write complete utter nonsense at the risk of victimising any sense of expressive beauty. Thankfully such texts are only left to the darkened, dusty, closed-off corners of empty university libraries, written by university "writers" living in darkened, dusty, closed-off corners of the world.

However, you can never ignore the possibility of learning. So the best thing out of that inane passage of rubbish (not too dissimilar to this very same one) was the wonderful conversation I had with my friend. It purported that reality was life and death, but the "art of living" was the time inbetween. This is in layman's terms of course, but it was something along those lines. There's enough rubbish in this passage to read already, and I wouldn't subject you to read anymore.

It did make a decent impression on me for the day, and put me into a state of ponder that was very comfortable. There's so many possibilites to explore and so much potential to realise them with even the most inanimate and basic tools in front of you. Good times, one life. :P
