"Don't step on the Lawn"? NOOOO.
If you've ever come to Hong Kong, you would see a lot of so called "Notice/Instrustions" everywhere you can think of. "Don't step on the Lawn" is one of the most popular ones I believe. I know lots of foreigners think that they are extraordinarily interesting (I agree sometimes), but most of these are really influenced us in daily life. They become our habits. Wherever there are huge grounds of greensward, (they mostly are privately owned, as most of the lands in the city belongs to private companies), they won't let people step on... We are somehow educated like that, but why not? I never agree with that. Earnestly, human-being have that FREEDOM!
