... or A Host of Golden Tulips.

We spent the morning in Maidstone, Kent testing out a car for Beloved. This activity involved a few tests, small in number, but crucial to checking the quality and durability of the car. The most significant of these tests included checking the colour and finding out where the ipod connector was. In the meantime, the kids did their best to pull the car apart.

The car passed all these crucial tests, but unfortunately, the Salesman didn't. He adopted the throwing all his cards on the table at the first round approach to negotiation. I wasn't prepared for this and the offer wasn't competitive enough for my liking. He had nowhere to go and we found the door.

That left a couple of hours spare. We had annual tickets for Leeds Castle with us and it was on 'the doorstep'. Apart from pulling the car apart, the kids had been very well behaved, so off we went.

These tulips caught my eye as did this vista.
