a mother's job never ends

It's nice to know you have a mom who will drop everything when her 29 year old daughter calls at 630am and says she needs her.

Last night I woke up multiple times with the flu, and it continued all day. My mom came over to tend to me and take care of Miles. She made 3 trips to the store and pharmacy, changed some dirty diapers, cleaned up the house, and let me sleep while she got some quality time with Miles - including reading him some books, which he really enjoys!

It's almost nighttime and I'm still sick, with either the flu or from something I ate. I hope Miles doesn't come down with anything, because that would just break my heart.

A final note...Right now I'm lying in bed with my puppy while my husband reads some more books to Miles. It's pretty much the cutest thing ever.
