Deli Blinds

On a sultry afternoon, these blinds half drawn on the windows of Whiteway Delicatessen on King Street caught my attention.

I know what you are thinking, I resorted to the GRD III's high contrast B&W mode. Well yes and no.

I did take a similar shot in the high contrast B&W mode but somehow managed to cock up the composition.

The version that appears here was converted to B&W in Silver Efex Pro. And if I say so myself, it looks better than the high contrast B&W mode.

But then I would say that, wouldn't I? :-)
