Itch
Easter celebrations today at school and I had taken the day off from work to be able to help out at school. Nienke and Inge first had breakfast in school, then all the kids attended three different workshops, chosen from a total of 22 options. I was a volunteer for the 'Technical' workshop. The children connected plugs, wires, switches and light bulbs. It was great fun for the kids and for me the reward was the looks on their faces when we tested their creations and the light came on and could be switched off again. And not a single fuse blew during the workshops :-)
In the afternoon we went to my in-laws for a birthday. Sitting outside with temperatures well above 20 degrees Celcius; amazing for a day in April! The girls of course had some pony grooming to do. One of the ponies appeared to be annoyed with something, so I suggested to let him be free for a while. He immediately started rolling in the sand; obviously an itch somewhere...
Tomorrow it's one more day of work and then a long (four-day) weekend! Oh, and for Martine's mother Zwaan it will be her last working day ever: she will retire tomorrow.
