This lovely creation is situated outside a new public sports centre. I took this this morning, when the sun was in the wrong place for me to photograph it in its complete entirety. I therefore crouched down to avoid the building distracting from it.

I'm really glad now that I had to do this as when I considered that it looked like someone "reaching for the stars" (from this angle) I instantly thought of Professor Brian Cox! Anyone who has seen the series "Wonders of the universe" will follow me and if they enjoyed this programme as much as I did, may appreciate what I think is a fitting tribute to such an enquiring mind...
