Millennium Bridge

This bridge was built in the year 2000. It's a footbridge spanning the river Lune at Lancaster UK. The Lune is a tidal river and the tide was out today whenI took both the pics...the stainless steel supports are quite something as you can see. The twin columns are supposed to represent the masts of a ship. Lancaster was a busy port city in it's heyday
