Elegant Cat's Ear

The wild flowers are finally starting to bloom in the Siskiyou National Forest. This is an Elegant Cat's Ear (Calochortus elegans). I found this one on Johnson Mountain Road, the dew still on the petals. Finally, time to get back out doors and get some activity going. Oregon is full of outdoor activities and national forests. Wild flowers abound throughout the state.
