Flowering Currant

A lot of people can't stand the smell of this, but outside, when you walk past a bush, it's a real smell of spring! I admit it is a bit like cat pee, but in a good way! Ollie and I pass a huge, almost hedge, of it as we head up to the cliffs.

I was in working in the craft shop this afternoon and suddenly there are plenty of tourists around. Really enjoy talking to them, hearing where they come from, what brought them to Orkney, what they think of it, suggesting places to go and things to do.

Life is good and the sun is still shining and summer is on its way . . . !
