A Zapper for Tired Eyes
You know the story. You sit down to watch TV, all comfy like and then it dawns on you. The kids used the remote control last and as usual they have decided to play hide and seek with it. It's let's confuse the stepfather time, so we hide the silly thing. Eventally after 15 minutes tearing the place asunder you find it, under one of the cushions they have been lounging on. Press the button and YES!! just in time for the first advert break. Half the programme gone. Now how do I find the channel I need? Why the blazes is everything printed so small nowadays? Off I go for the reading glasses. Telephone rings. Dispose of call. Back to the TV. Now, how does this thing work. This button. No. Maybe this one. No. What about this one? Ah! at last. Mmmm, just in time to see the closing credits roll up. Missed the programme altogether!
So, I decided to go out and buy my own personal zapper. Now they simply can't hide this one on me and by the looks of it, even I should be able to read it with my tired old eyes.
