Restoration, restoration

Walked back over to Church of All Saints to blip the tulips and headstones and I saw the clock. It wasn`t there when I first got to know about the Church a while back, but there was a piece about it attached to the door underneath.
Although the Church ahas not been used as a place of worship since 1986
you can obtain the key to go in a have a look around.
The restoration work on the clock began in 2008 and it was completed in 2010 when it was put back into place. It`s a beautiful piece of work and when the two bells are struck it`s lovely to hear it.

Had the bestest piece of news today. I mentioned in one of my write ups that my husband had lost contact with his daughter some 15 years ago due to the breakup of his marriage. Well today he received a letter from Sarahs` partner Lucy with the message that Sarah would like to get in touch with him after al this time. Isn`t that just the best bit of news and thank you Lucy for wanting to set up this reunion...I`m bloody chuffed, Chris is euphoric
