Bubbles!

Had a great day at the Science Festival at the City Arts Centre. There was much to do with bubbles which went down well with the youngling and, as they'd handily put the recipe on the wall, we came home and decided to have a go.

After confusing the chemist asking for glycerin we came home and mixed 4 litres of water, 250ml of washing up liquid and 250ml of glycerin. We then wrapped a coat hanger in string and had a go.

Wasn't entirely as good as it had been earlier, I think the breeze was playing a part and it wasn't easy getting any kind of picture, this was the best photo we got.

You should be thankful, you nearly got this picture of a cat instead.
